Developer says Nolte Hotel schematic design complete; aims for permitting and 2027 construction start
Semi Development (formerly Ground Floor) reported completion of schematic design for the Nolte Hotel redevelopment, described the project as catalytic for downtown Seguin and estimated a possible $8.3 million in additional economic impact; the developer expects permitting and construction to follow in 2027 with an opening targeted for Q3 2029.

Elora, Seguin's director of economic development, introduced Semi Development (formerly Ground Floor) to update the council on the Nolte Block redevelopment at 101 East Nolte Street. Peter French, a partner with Semi, said the team has passed schematic-design milestone A and is moving into pricing and detailed design work.
