Sammers Bay capping nearly complete; county expects wrap-up in weeks
The county director said capping and rock placement for Sammers Bay are nearly finished on multiple sections and that remaining shaping work should conclude in the coming weeks, after which grant paperwork will be processed.

The Land & Water director (Speaker 4) updated the committee on Sammers Bay, reporting that capping is complete on several sections and rock placement is nearly finished on others. "So we are almost to the end. We're hoping to get most of 2 done, probably not all of it. And then we'll be wrapping up this project," the director said, adding that paperwork related to multiple grants will follow.
