Arlington County Board certifies closed session and adjourns
After nearly two hours in closed session, the County Board certified compliance with Virginia's closed-meeting rules by roll call (5–0) and adjourned the closed meeting at 4:34 PM; minutes were attested by the clerk and later approved.

At 4:32 PM the Arlington County Board moved to certify that the closed session had included only business lawfully exempted from open-meeting rules and only subjects identified in the convening motion. Chair Matt de Ferranti moved the certification and Vice-Chair Maureen Coffey seconded; the roll-call vote recorded all five members as "Aye."
