Afton Community Club event dates approved despite funding shortfall
The council approved five BYOB Tuesday park events for June–August and heard that last year's Pre-4th events ran about $3,000 over donations; ACC continues to seek volunteers and donations.

The Afton Community Club requested approval for five BYOB Tuesdays in the park (June 2, June 16, June 30, July 14 and August 4) and the council approved the dates with a 4–1 vote (Parham opposed). ACC told the council that the Wine Slushie vendor may contact city hall about serving on those dates and that plans for Pre-4th weekend events are ongoing.
