The Douglas County Land and Development Committee voted Sept. 29 to accept high bids on multiple county parcels and forward those bids to the Douglas County Board for final approval. Notable accepted offers included $115,000 from Jim Pichler for parcel AM-002-00842-00 in the Town of Amnicon and $53,500 from Austin Construction for Lot 7, Block 17 in South Superior.
