During the Selectboard’s Oct. 5 meeting the Treasurer outlined bookkeeping issues that emerged when the town transitioned payroll systems. She said items such as FICA and Medicare had been paid but recorded as payables rather than expenses, and that she is working through fund-balance discrepancies with NEMRC and reviewing back to the 2020 audit.
