Task-force members accepted language clarifying that Wayne County "provides equal employment opportunities to all people" and that claims of retaliation related to advancement or employment opportunities should be addressed under Personnel and Human Resources procedures, the employee handbook, civil service rules, collective-bargaining agreements, county ordinances or state law. Chair Wilson read the proposed paragraph into the record during the meeting.
