Commissioners make committee appointments and back Proposition 137
The Board appointed Commissioner Laura Puckett Daniels to serve on CCI's Legislative Committee (with Commissioner Smith as alternate), named county representatives and alternates to CC4CA committees, and unanimously approved a letter of support for Proposition 137 to Protect Colorado's Land and Water, to be delivered via Tarn Udall as the registered agent.

The Board appointed Commissioner Laura Puckett Daniels as the county's designee to serve on the Colorado Counties, Inc. (CCI) Legislative Committee with Commissioner Elizabeth Smith as the alternate, and made specific appointments and alternates for the Colorado Communities for Climate Action (CC4CA) policy, legislative and finance committees, with Assistant County Manager John Cattles noted as a possible representative. Motions on the designations were moved and seconded by commissioners and recorded as carried unanimously.
