The Eau Claire County Board on Sept. 15 approved Resolution 26-27/023, which authorizes an intergovernmental agreement for the Passenger Rail Plan and permits limited modifications subject to corporation counsel review. Supervisor Nick Smiar moved the measure; Supervisor Ray French seconded it. The resolution passed by roll call vote: 21 ayes, 7 noes and 1 absent.
