The chair said the police department has two drones acquired through a CSX grant and has used them for missing-person searches, crime-prevention work and at 9/11 events. "We've been utilizing the drone, which, by the way, we acquired through a grant, through CSX," the chair said, noting the department plans to train additional officers as pilots to expand deployment.
