EDC representative Sean outlines three-year plan, workforce and recruitment efforts

Sean, the EDC representative, presented the Economic Development Corporation's annual report and recent activity to the council. He told the council the EDC has conducted 47 recruitment efforts (including state RFIs and industrial outreach), is actively working with five prospects, and is using location‑quotient analysis to identify industry and workforce gaps. He said the EDC is targeting sectors such as small food and beverage production, packaging, metal fabrication and logistics while also supporting agriculture.
