Council authorizes temporary audit support contract capped at $61,000
To meet audit deadlines, council authorized the use of Peak Performers (through the state-use program via Horizons of New Mexico) for up to ~1,180 hours and a not-to-exceed $61,000 through Jan. 29, 2027. Staff said assistance is needed to finish FY25 closeout and complete FY26 audit prep by Dec. 15.
