On Oct. 5 the Ellis County Wage & Benefit Committee voted to continue MASA coverage as an employer-paid benefit, drawing on the Employee Health Benefit reserve. Committee Chair Braden Parke moved the measure and Rachel Barnes seconded; the motion passed 4-0.
