Staff reports mixed grant results; some priority projects remain on five-year plan

Staff reported that recent competitive grant rounds produced more requests than available funds; one example cited was roughly $12,000,000 available against about $56,000,000 in requests. The board was told its restroom project at Freshwater Bay remains on the department's five‑year plan and staff will continue to advocate for funding through other programs or future rounds.
