Commissioners handle routine items: meeting space request, audit update and adjournment
The board agreed to let the Franklin County Republican Central Committee use the chambers monthly in 2027 (first Mondays), heard that the county audit is still pending, and adjourned the meeting.

During staff reports on Oct. 7 the county received a request from the Franklin County Republican Central Committee to use the commissioners' chambers for monthly meetings in 2027. Staff indicated there was no objection provided the committee follows usual scheduling and spaces for other groups would be monitored.
