The Killdeer City Commission on Sept. 8 approved a request from the Killdeer American Legion to fund entertainment and inflatables for the organization’s Ribs for Kids event scheduled Sept. 12, 2026. Lisa Guenther and Hollie Kuntz presented the request; Commissioner Greg Nordsven moved to approve $18,006.18 for the Johnny Holms Band and inflatable bounce houses, and the motion passed on a roll-call vote with all members voting aye.
