Planner Hutchinson told council the concept for CP-25-1 envisions retail along US-161, multifamily housing and a relocated Warner Road centered through the site to create a destination rather than a drive-by frontage. "Where we really start focusing on on the floodway and flood plain zone," Hutchinson said, describing how a large portion of the northern third of the site falls in that zone and how design must accommodate detention, easements, and trail connections.
