Emergency manager reports vehicle completion, training and solar trailer readiness
Emergency Management reported the county truck will be completed this week; the manager was accepted to the National Emergency Management Advanced Academy (Missouri cohort) with sessions in 2027; the emergency trailer’s solar component is functioning; and a FEMA PIO class is scheduled in December.

Makenna Haas, Cloud County Emergency Management, reported on Sept. 8 that the county emergency management truck is expected to be completed this week. Haas said she was accepted into the National Emergency Management Advanced Academy (Missouri cohort), with weeklong classes scheduled in March, May, July and September 2027 in Jefferson City, Missouri.
