The Nevada County Board of Supervisors on July 8 voted to introduce and waive further reading of an ordinance adopting 2025 fire hazard severity zone maps for local responsibility areas (LRA) in unincorporated county territory. The motion to introduce the ordinance passed on a roll-call vote with all five districts recorded as "Yes."
