County approves final payments for bridge and paving projects after bids close near estimates
Public Works reported final contract values for bridge replacements (contract 321) and paving (contract 322); the board authorized certificates of final payment for both projects following staff presentations praising contractor performance and locally sourced work.

Morrison County Engineer and Public Works Director Tony Hennen presented two final contract reports and asked the board to authorize certificates of final payment. For contract 321 (bridge replacements on Cassaw 21 and County Road 225) Hennen said the project was originally bid at $1,486,819.56 and certified work totaled $1,400,796.48.
