Council adopts zoning map amendment for Mendota properties on third reading
Council voted to rezone two Marsh Road parcels from R-2 to C-2 (file 2026-002), an application filed under the old code; planning staff said the change would enable the applicant's requested commercial uses and the planning commission recommended approval.

On third reading the City Council adopted ordinance 2026-002 to reclassify property on Marsh Road from R-2 residential to C-2 limited retail. The rezoning application had been filed under the prior zoning code and the applicant requested the city apply the old classification; under the new code those parcels will be incorporated as C-1.
