Board accepts resignation from Ringsted firefighter and appoints replacement
The Emmet County Board accepted the resignation of Linn Ries from Ringsted Benefitted Fire and appointed Dan Jorgensen to the department; both actions were approved unanimously.

During the Oct. 6 meeting the board accepted a resignation letter from Linn Ries, a member of Ringsted Benefitted Fire. Supervisor Tim Schumacher moved to accept the resignation and Supervisor Jeff Quastad seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
