County staff reports steady progress on new Hall County courthouse
Hall County facilities staff told commissioners that 1st-floor drywall is mostly complete, 2nd-floor studs are up, and work on heating, air and fire-suppression systems continues; judges have toured portions of the building.

Hall County staff gave the board an update on the new courthouse project, reporting that first-floor drywall is largely in place, second-floor studs are up and third-floor work will take longer because of higher ceilings. ‘‘1st Floor has got quite a bit of drywall up right now,’’ Facilities staff (speaker 9) said, adding that judges who toured the space were pleased with the layout.
