Hormel Foundation-backed digital equity program introduces director to Austin

Tom Dankert of the Hormel Foundation introduced Erica Chavarria as the new director overseeing the foundation-funded digital navigator program in Austin. Dankert told the council the Hormel Foundation approved nearly $2,200,000 to fully fund a local digital equity initiative that will hire digital navigators to help residents access online services and training at community locations.
