The Lake County Board of Supervisors on Oct. 6 adopted a proclamation designating October 2026 as Head Start Awareness Month. Chair Rasmussen and Supervisor Sabatier presented the proclamation and invited local Head Start staff and families to the dais; the board recorded adoption 'the 6th day of October' and the proclamation was signed by the board chair.
