The Katy City Council voted to approve Amendment No. 2 to the city's solid waste and recycling agreement with Texas Pride Disposal LLC. The amendment implements an annual price adjustment in accordance with the National Consumer Price Index, effective Sept. 1, 2026. The original agreement was approved July 20, 2020 under resolution 1088, and the contract term previously ran Sept. 1, 2023 to Aug. 31, 2026.
