The Transportation Committee voted to approve Resolution DTR 35‑26, authorizing staff to apply for up to $5,000,000 from the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program for the Stearns Road multiuse path between the DuPage/Kane County line and Sayre Road. The motion was seconded and passed on a voice vote. The vote authorizes submission of an application; staff and members noted that receipt of funds would be subject to the competitive grant process.
