County approves 2026 tax rate request and levy authorization
The Board approved the County's 2026 Tax Rate Request (Form L-4029) and adopted Resolution #06-012-26 authorizing Newaygo County to levy and collect county-allocated property taxes. Both actions passed unanimously on June 10, 2026.

The Newaygo County Board of Commissioners on June 10 approved the county's 2026 Tax Rate Request (Form L-4029) and adopted a separate resolution authorizing the levy and collection of county-allocated property taxes. Commissioner Lori Tubbergen Clark moved approval of the tax rate request; the motion carried with all six commissioners present voting aye.
