County officials said crews are installing three 6‑foot culverts (twelve 40‑foot tubes) as a temporary repair on M‑68; the county hopes to reopen the road after the first week of June but said a future MDOT bridge replacement could require lane or full closure and could take a year or more.

County leaders discussed a temporary repair to M‑68 that involves installing large culvert tubes and keeping traffic moving while a longer bridge replacement remains a future project. So it'll span an 80 foot crossing with, 3 6 foot culverts,’’ the official said.
