Selectmen authorize Opportunity Zone application for Rt. 11 census tract
The board approved (5-0) a resolution authorizing the town to apply for an Opportunity Zone designation for a tract along NH Route 11 and authorized the chair to sign a letter of support to the governor; staff said the designation provides tax incentives for eligible private developers, not a local tax change.

The Board of Selectmen voted unanimously Aug. 24 to authorize an application supporting an Opportunity Zone nomination for a census tract along New Hampshire Route 11 and to authorize the chair to sign the letter to the governor (motion Scruton/Titus; passed 5-0).
