Department staff updated the board on operational work and near-term capital projects. Staff said about 40 meters/radios need replacement and parts for two high-usage meters are on order; the RFP to replace filter media closed with only one response that came in about 20% over the estimate, prompting staff to reevaluate options and consider state revolving funds. Inspections identified about 120 homes requiring service-line replacement; staff said an RFP for that work is expected in November.
