County staff and the project representative reviewed multiple change orders for the courthouse and annex roofing projects. The board heard that earlier accounting reduced the contract amount by $25,000 but left contingency skewed; staff proposed adding $150,000 to the construction contingency funded from SPLOST to avoid markup and overhead charges on expected additional change orders.
