Commissioners approve temporary closure of Dobson Road stretch pending bridge work
After a public hearing on PC26‑004, the board voted to temporarily close about 4,144 feet of Dobson Road until the county can bring the bridge and road up to county standards and provide gated emergency access controlled by county staff.

The board continued public hearing PC26‑004 concerning a request to close approximately 4,144 feet of Dobson Road. Property owner Bob Williams described the center section as heavily eroded, built on exposed bedrock and served by a bridge GDOT gave its lowest rating.
