The Bartholomew County Commissioners unanimously approved Change Order No. 1 for the fairgrounds storage building at their March 30 meeting, increasing the contract by $18,580. The modifications remove perma-column foundations in favor of continuous concrete footing and stem wall, add open-cell spray R-19 insulation, and include a CondenStop moisture management system for roof panels (+$16,206) while deducting for reduced panel thickness and removal of four exterior doors, resulting in a current contract total of $758,930.
