Housing subdivision request held as Rock County remains under zoning moratorium

Applicant Melissa Osentowski asked the commissioners to approve a subdivision for a housing development but was told by Assessor and Zoning Administrator TJ Ellermeier that Rock County is under a zoning moratorium while regulations are updated. Ellermeier stated the county must follow zoning review when two or more houses are planned on a quarter section and recommended waiting until the moratorium is lifted.
