Development Services proposed updates to environmental-unit fees to align with ADEQ limits; supervisors approved reductions for truck inspections (to $111), a $2,500 flat fee for water/sewer line extensions (below ADEQ's cap), and added pool plan-review fees for public pools.

Assistant Director Mark Loussaint told the board that the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality recently adjusted its maximum allowable fees, and that Yavapai County must align locally to remain compliant. He recommended reducing truck-inspection fees (septic pumpers, water haulers, porta‑john trucks) from $225 to $111 to match ADEQ's new rate, increasing a flat fee for sewer and water-line extensions from $600 to $2,500 (stakeholder-supported and well under ADEQ's $25,000 maximum), and creating a fee for public/semi‑public pool plan reviews.
