Halifax County waste authority delays FY2026 billing after Munis configuration errors

Halifax County Solid Waste Disposal Authority members were told on June 1, 2026 that Fiscal Year 2026 solid waste billing will be delayed after configuration errors in the county's Munis billing system prevented bills from being finalized and printed. Verron "Ron" Brade, county administrator, reported that staff submitted billing data on April 28, 2026 but have encountered slow or no responses from the software vendor.
