Committee: Decker Bridge in poor condition, may be closed while replacement funding is sought
A volunteer committee reported the timber-framed Decker Bridge is structurally unsound and likely to be closed permanently; members said funding and inclusion in the Open Space Institute master plan may enable replacement in the future.

Douglas, a committee member, said the Decker Bridge on Department of Corrections property is in poor shape and likely cannot be rebuilt in its current form. "It's not really rebuildable," Douglas said, and the group described the bridge as a timber-framed span with rotted structural members.
