Committee raises WDACP corn price to $4.75 per bushel
Committee members voted unanimously to raise the 2026 WDACP corn price to $4.75 per bushel and approved the remaining listed crop prices during the Oct. 1 meeting following the USDA-APHIS presentation.

During a discussion of 2026 Wildlife Damage Abatement and Claims Program crop prices, Committee member Hansen moved to increase the corn price to $4.75 per bushel; Committee member Kesler seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. The motion was part of the committee's review of the WDACP price schedule presented by Brian Maedke of USDA-APHIS.
