The council completed second reading of Ordinance 9A to amend Chapter 9 of the village code and separate the village’s solid-waste rate schedules into a distinct mechanism set by resolution. Staff said the change is procedural in nature — keeping rate schedules outside the core ordinance text and enabling the council to set rates by future resolution.
