Commission votes unanimously to end FT Benning stray facility contract
The Cusseta–Chattahoochee County Commission voted unanimously Nov. 4 to end its contract with the FT Benning stray facility after saying the county could not meet the contract requirements; the board said it will work with the partner through the notice period.

The Cusseta–Chattahoochee County Commission voted unanimously on Nov. 4 to end the county’s contract with the FT Benning stray facility. Commissioner Gerald Douglas moved to end the contract and Commissioner Jason Frost seconded; the board approved the motion without opposition.
