Trustee James Carlisle moved and the board approved TASB Update 126 as presented; the motion passed 5-0 at the Dec. 8, 2025 called meeting of the Leon ISD Board of Trustees.

Board President Chad Thomas opened the meeting with a statement confirming notice and a quorum. “I call the meeting of the Leon Independent School District to order at 6:00 pm, December 8, 2025. Let the record show that a quorum of board members were present, that this meeting has been duly called, and that notice of this meeting has been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Act. Texas Government Code, Chapter 551.”
