At its July 28, 2026 meeting the Sedgwick County Board approved routine consent items and payables, tabled consideration of a Julesburg historic sign and a sheriff hiring bonus pending further input, and approved a support letter for the NECALG capital campaign.

The Sedgwick County Board of Commissioners met July 28, 2026, and approved the meeting agenda, prior minutes and payables before moving into reports and business items. Chairman John Fryar moved to approve the agenda "as presented" and the motion carried; Darrin Tobin moved to approve the July 21 minutes and the payables, both carried.
