Commission selects Raine Architects to design Harlingen multipurpose recreation center

City staff presented the results of a May 12 RFQ process for architectural and engineering design services for a multipurpose recreation center. Eleven RFQs were received; staff recommended the top-ranked firm, Raine Architects, and asked the commission to authorize the city manager to negotiate and execute an agreement that aligns scope, timeline and budget.
