The Board received the County Engineer’s proposed changes to the permanent assessment bases for the Smith Ditch and set a primary hearing for Jan. 7, 2027 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Assembly Room at the Ottawa County Courthouse; if continued a second hearing is set for March 4, 2027 at 10:00 a.m. Changes approved at the second hearing would be effective April 3, 2027, and the first-hearing effective date is Feb. 5, 2027.
