Committee directs Planning Board to study two additional parcels for possible redevelopment
By unanimous resolution the Township Committee directed the Planning Board to investigate whether Block 6 Lot 12 and Block 7 Lot 1 qualify as areas in need of non-condemnation redevelopment under state law and to report findings back to the committee.

The Township Committee adopted Resolution 2026-117 on Sept. 16, 2026, directing the Planning Board to conduct a preliminary investigation under N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-4 and -6 to determine whether Block 6 Lot 12 and Block 7 Lot 1 qualify as non-condemnation redevelopment areas. The resolution instructs the Planning Board to notify property owners, hold a hearing, and submit a resolution with findings and supporting documentation to the Township Committee.
