The board accepted donations from five donors at the Aug. 11 meeting totaling $700. William Thorsell donated $50 for FCCLA/Band; Wilson County Agency donated $100 for the Kickboard Store; St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church donated $500 to Student Council and the food pantry; Kathy Stewart donated $25 for the Kickboard Store; and board member Shalyne Beck donated $100 for an FFA trip. Tim Raymond moved and Cheyenne Collins seconded acceptance; motion carried 6‑0.
