The Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved HCCPA2616, a privately initiated map amendment to change future land use for a 13.83‑acre parcel near North 22nd Street from Residential 20 to Residential 35, increasing potential residential capacity. Planning staff said the site is within the urban service area and that the proposed designation aligns with goals to encourage redevelopment and additional housing opportunities in the university area.
