Engineer reports Kiamesha Lake WWTP upgrade bids within budget; action expected Oct. 6
Delaware Engineering reported that three general-construction bids were opened for the Kiamesha Lake wastewater treatment plant upgrade and that base bids were within the project budget; further board action is anticipated at the Oct. 6 meeting.

Dave Ohman, P.E., Principal at Delaware Engineering, D.P.C., told the board that general construction bids for the Kiamesha Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) upgrade were opened on Sept. 10, 2026 and that three bids were submitted. He said this was the second time the project was bid and that the base bid pricing was within the project’s budget.
