Jackson County approves HVAC change order, SHIP contract and liability fund resolution
The commission unanimously approved a courthouse HVAC change order with Modern Heating and Cooling, ratified an agreement with the Association of County Commissions of Alabama Liability Self-Insurance Fund (effective April 17, 2026), and approved the SHIP annual contract with TARCOG for the Council on Aging.

Jackson County commissioners on April 28 approved several routine contracts and a liability-resolution intended to maintain county coverage. The board voted unanimously to approve and sign an HVAC change order with Modern Heating and Cooling for the Jackson County Courthouse; the motion was made by Commissioner Paul Kennamer and seconded by Commissioner Chris Gulley.
